Astell Care Centre in Walker, Newcastle Upon Tyne is a 93-bed care facility offering General Nursing, EMI Nursing, and Residential care.

The ground floor provides care for both men and women, with a dedicated area for women requiring more specialised support for complex behaviours. The entire top floor is a male-only environment designed to support individuals with Mental Health issues, including Dementia.
Our staff are trained in person-centred care, ensuring all residents, including those with complex needs, receive high-quality support. We work closely with a local GP for weekly rounds, meeting all care and medical needs.

We offer daily menu choices, catering to nutritional, religious, and cultural needs, with on-site laundry services available. Our dedicated Activities Team provides group and one-to-one activities tailored to individual interests. Regular Resident/Relatives meetings encourage family involvement in planning events and social activities.
