Osborne House Care Home, located in Selby, North Yorkshire, offers a comfortable and supportive environment for our residents.

Ladybird, on the ground floor, is a 27-bed residential area led by a unit leader, supported by our unit manager, care assistants and a residential manager. This area includes two lounges, one with direct access to a maintained garden, a dining area, and a café and pub called the ‘Nook and Cranney’. All rooms are en-suite with a shower, toilet, and sink, and some are adapted with overhead hoists. Communal bathrooms with adapted baths and walk-in wet rooms are also available.

On the first floor is a 33-bed general nursing area, overseen by nurses and care assistants. This area features a large communal lounge, a dining area, and an entertainment lounge. All bedrooms are en-suite, and communal bathrooms and shower rooms are equipped with overhead hoists and adapted baths.

The 14-bed residential dementia area is also on the first floor, offering a combined lounge/dining area and a separate small lounge for activities, visits, or quiet time. This area includes a communal bathroom with an adapted bath.

Each care area has kitchenettes, providing access to refreshments at any time.

At Osborne House, our dedicated activity coordinators provide personalised, person-centred activities for all residents, both one-on-one and in group sessions. We also host entertainers and support residents in participating in community activities.
